Beresford Clarke
Managing Director: Technical & Research, SFA (Oxford)
Beresford is responsible for serving SFA (Oxford)'s global clients, overseeing analyst teams, product delivery, innovation, and acting as the lead research author. As Chairman of the Executive Committee, he brings over 20 years of expertise as a strategic metals market analyst, with extensive exposure to both upstream and downstream industries. He has led research in key areas like PGMs, battery metals, automotive technology, and other strategic commodities. His experience includes M&A defense, acquisitions, project valuations, mine restructuring, and capital raising ($5 billion to date), working with mining companies, refiners, recyclers, and investors. Additionally, he has researched various commodities, including chrome, gold, base metals, and oil.
Dr Rahul Mital
Technical Fellow, General Motors
Dr Rahul Mital, is the Global Technical Fellow/Engineering Technical Leader for Diesel Aftertreatment at General Motors. Dr. Mital has a Bachelor's from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, Indiana.
As a Technical Fellow, Dr. Mital is responsible for diesel aftertreatment system design, development, and release, for all GM diesel vehicles globally. Dr. Mital holds 48 U.S. patents and has more than 40 publications.
Dr. Mital has received GM's Boss Kettering award twice and was selected by the National Academy of Engineering for the US Frontiers of Engineering symposium. He is also the recipient of multiple SAE Awards, Purdue University's "Outstanding Mechanical Engineer" and ASEI's Engineer of the Year Award.
