The Oxford Battery Metals Lectures
In collaboration with SFA (Oxford)

The industrial continental drift of battery supply chains
SFA (Oxford) and SC Insights are delighted to announce that the Oxford Battery Metals Lectures will be held on Thursday 15th May 2025, 10h00 to 17h30 BST.
In the increasingly uncertain battery metals markets, we are witnessing an “industrial continental drift” as nations reassess their reliance on global supply networks. It is forcing the EV industry to geo-insure the resilience of their supply chains to ensure long-term survival. The Oxford Battery Metals Lectures will focus this year on The Deglobalisation of Battery Supply Chains, and the implications for players across the battery metals value chain.
The event will draw from experts across the battery metals value chain, including SQM, CATL, Porsche Consulting, SC Insights, and SFA (Oxford) and will feature insightful lectures, stimulating debates, and interactive Q&A sessions. Once again, the lectures will be held in the prestigious Oxford University Museum of Natural History. The event will also be available online.
