Expertise and career highlights

Caesaria joined SFA (Oxford) as a Commodity Analyst in 2024. Before joining SFA, Caesaria gained extensive experience as a commodity market analyst with leading state-owned mining enterprises in Indonesia, covering a range of commodities including nickel, gold, and bauxite. She conducted comprehensive market research that contributed to the development of the electric vehicle (EV) battery value chain. Her research included analysing the profitability of High Pressure Acid Leaching (HPAL) technology for producing Nickel Class I from Nickel Laterite, delivering both commercial and strategic impact.

She also played a pivotal role in developing a five-year strategic plan for a gold downstream company, facilitating its expansion into the gold jewellery business. This initiative required a deep understanding of gold commodity markets and involved both B2B and B2C strategies, with a particular focus on digital marketing.

Caesaria holds a master's degree in Metals and Energy Finance from Imperial College London, complementing her technical background in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the University of Indonesia. Her academic achievements include publishing four international research papers focused on enhancing steel properties through the addition of carbon-based nanofluids in heat treatment processes.
